THE PROJECT \/<\/strong>Tyr Auf!<\/em> is a modern circus piece that conquers boundaries and in which audiences are taken into a world full of wonder and surprise.\u00a0<\/p>

Could seeing things differently change the way we understand them? Humanity has made great progress throughout history; fighting for freedom and overcoming barriers. Yet, the greatest obstacles remain in our minds. Ingrained beliefs can trap us in a self-imagined reality, denying us true freedom.<\/p>

Tyr Auf!<\/em> invites us, to open doors in our minds, to accept things we cannot change, while having the courage to shape what we can and approach challenges from a new angle. With deconstructed Cyr wheels, poetic, original movements, images and technical skills emerge, exploring imperfection and the unexpected beauty of change.<\/p>

BIO \/ <\/strong><\/span>Fenja Barteldres is a German circus artist, specialised in Cyr wheel. She trained at the \u00c9cole de Cirque de Qu\u00e9bec (CAN) and completed her Bachelor\u2019s degree at Codarts Circus Arts in Rotterdam (NL), 2022. After her graduation, Fenja worked with companies such as GOP, URBANATIX and TeaTime, while setting up her own employment and premiering her first solo show Cyrrealism<\/em> in 2024.<\/p>

Her art is characterized by humor and irony, which act as counterpoints to poetry, emotional depth, and beauty. Unlike anyone else, she deconstructs her own medium, creating a paradigm shift both within the Cyr wheel itself and in the themes she explores. This awaits us as well in her upcoming creation Tyr Auf!<\/em>, set to premiere in 2027.
