During the summer of 2022, circusnext welcomed the Barks company for a performance of <\/em>Moon – cabinet de curiosit\u00e9s lunaires in Paris.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Barks company<\/strong><\/a>, associated with circusnext, performs its creation Moon – Cabinet de curiosit\u00e9s lunaires in the heart of Paris on Saturday July 8<\/strong>. Much like a cabinet of curiosities, Moon<\/em> is conceived as a constellation of surprising structures, around which are imagined small antigravity performances, each lasting around ten minutes. The company will present 2 of these small forms: the seesaw and its latest structure, the platform of unbalance.<\/p>

This will be followed by a workshop<\/strong>, a playful course of balances and imbalances to play with the perception of space, thanks to special glasses: the Invertoscopes. The show and workshop take place in the courtyard of the Boulard elementary school (Paris 14th)<\/strong>, an atypical environment in which this ambulatory creation can take on a whole new spatial dimension!<\/p>

Barks company, what is it?<\/h6>

In 2014, Bastien Dausse co-founded the Barks company with Fran\u00e7ois Lemoine. Bastien is an artist whose core work is (dis)balance and the desire to play with gravity. Within the Barks company, he conducts research on gravity, combining acrobatics with scenography, sculpture, science and other disciplines. With his work, Bastien Dausse develops a singular aesthetic and aims to propose a vision of art that questions our relationship with everyday life.<\/p>

Since 2022, Barks has been an associated company of circusnext.<\/p>
