NOise Cirkus talks about the relationship between humans and human-made objects. This semi-improvised performance, combining music and circus, draws on the aesthetics of noise music and translates them into a circus language through the exploration of discarded objects.
A tribute to the spirit of recycling, NOise Cirkus seeks the point where the worlds of objects and human beings meet, in a society where the abundance of material possessions also raises questions about the value we place on them—or fail to.
The project aims to revisit a chapter of Slovenian history, from the post-socialist transition to the present day, revealing both the history and the likely future of human wastefulness.
