Juggling
Splash invites the audience on a journey towards an absurd dream world where a swimming pool filled with 25,000 balls stands in the center. In Splash, we follow two characters oppressed by the outside world reverting to their survival mechanism, juggling. From their boundless fantasy full of creativity emerges an unlikely attempt to reach the juggling paradise.
Splash is created and performed by Henri Kangas and Batist Van Baekel. After graduating from Codarts Circus Arts, they founded Jam.Shenanigans, a circus company focused on object manipulation, theater, and movement. Splash is their second creation.
Jam.Shenanigans creates circus shows for both indoor and outdoor spaces, with a special focus on family audiences and a playful approach. Challenging the idea that family performances are just for children, they craft experiences that engage all spectators — regardless of age, background, or social standing — fostering connection and interaction with the audience.
