Two types of members make up the committees and juries of the circusnext Platform selection:
The 25 members of circusnext Platform
Creation and touring spread across 15 different countries, all of whom have significant expertise and knowledge of the cultural sector in their respective regions

Three of these members are elected to join the jury for the selection of the Laureates.

Artistic jury members
Experienced artists from the performing arts sector are invited by circusnext to bring their perspectives as artists to the discussions. Their goal is to identify what is vital in contemporary circus and to encourage artist-authors to develop new approaches and practices in circus.

Jury for National/Regional Pre-Selections Jury
For each edition, approximately 60 professionals gather in national or regional committees to pre-select projects. These committees are composed of cultural professionals, artists,circusnext Platform members and an artistic jury member.
They are organized by circusnext Platform members. They invite local cultural professionals and artists to review the applications from artists in their region and select up to 5 projects for the next stage.
For the 2025 edition, 11 committees gathered: Germany · Balkans Region · Baltic Region · Belgium · Spain · Finland · France · Italy · The Netherlands · Portugal · Sweden/Denmark
European Selection of Finalists Jury
The 25 members of circusnext Platform and the artistic jury members compose the jury which selects the 10 Finalists projects.
Selection of Laureates Jury
The Laureates’ Jury is composed of the artistic jury members and 3 members of circusnext Platform elected each year by all Platform members. This jury selects the 4 Laureate projects.
