Juggling
Mécanique d’une Machine à Rêves is a collection of artistic experiments by a juggler and jack-of-alltrades in search of a poetic language through object manipulation. Breaking away from traditional formats, the performance is playful and unfolds from one absurd idea to the next with inventiveness.
David Martin is a juggler born in the Paris region. After studying visual and multimedia arts, he pursued professional circus training at Le Plus Petit Cirque du Monde in Bagneux and at DOCH – the Stockholm University of the Arts, specializing in juggling.
His artistic work blends circus with curiosities, musicality, and the poetry of objects. Based between Stockholm and Paris, he is currently developing the project Mécanique d’une Machine à Rêves with Ben Richter, and touring with Florimond Dumas in Four Hands, a 30-minute intimate family show mixing juggling and music
