Bestiaire/Vestiaire revitalises the historical and political form of cabaret, shakes up its codes and brings down the fourth wall. The stage becomes an agora, filled with a diversity of movements, stories, dissonant and alternative voices. Sleight of hand routines flow one after the other, unraveling injunctions through methodical (un)dressing and unleashed creatures.

Biography

Antoine Linsale is a French artist known for his work in circus arts, dramaturgy and the peculiar world of drag and club kids. Trained at CNAC in France and ESAC in Brussels, Antoine specialized in aerial disciplines, while exploring dramaturgy and new magic.

As a playwright and director, Antoine was awarded the SACD Beaumarchais grant for Vis dans le Vide. On stage, he has performed with Cirque du Soleil (Creactive) and Compagnie Bivouac (Perceptions) and has collaborated with Pauline Santoni on multidisciplinary projects. He has performed on international stages including the Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels, South Korea and Peru.
