Carlo Cerato at Le Vellein Capi
On 16 October 2025, Carlo Cerato (circusnext 2021 laureate with Edo Cirque) will present his project Llabyellov at Le Vellein – Scènes de la CAPI, as part of MIDI 30: a lunchtime break with a sandwich, a drink, and a show!
Carlo Cerato, an Italian circus artist, is a juggler and object manipulator whose solo show Llabyellov was selected for the 42nd Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in 2023.
Rings, sticks, balls, peacock feathers, ice cream cones, cubes, scarves… get ready for a juggling performance in four chapters, four costumes, four colours! An abstract collage of juggling explorations — but also of electronic music, silence, lights, jokes, lots and lots of jokes — all performed in very close proximity to the audience.
Carlo Cerato discovered circus at the age of 11. He trained at FLIC in 2015 and later graduated from CNAC in 2019. With Léon Volet and Ramiro Erburu, he created the company EDO Cirque, 2021 circusnext Laureate. In 2020 he created the solo Llabyellov, then in 2022 he worked as an outside eye for the duo LAR by Davide and Mattia Bonetti. He is currently developing his new project ASTRAT, set to premiere in 2026.
