Noa Aubry (2024 Laureate) at the Théâtre de Rungis
From 1 to 10 July, circusnext and the Théâtre de Rungis welcome Noa Aubry for a ten-day residency. Join us on the 8 of July at 17:30 to discover Là où la nuit n’est pas si loin puisque le jour s’en va déjà during a work-in-progress presentation, the final step before creation.

Born from the sensation of being merely a body bridging the inner and outer worlds — a space “in between” — the performance reveals various transformations and layers of the body in an organic, sensitive experience. The approach of the wheel is reimagined through an exploration of resistance and density, creating a hypnotic, vibratory slowness.
Initially a musician, Noa Aubry studied classical guitar at the Conservatoire of Montreuil. She later discovered the German wheel and trained at ENACR, followed by CNAC. Guided by her musical background, Noa has developed a deep appreciation for language and a fascination with the body. Her work flows across artistic disciplines, breaking through conventional boundaries.
She is currently creating her first piece, Là où la nuit n’est pas si loin puisque le jour s’en va déjà, with the support of Naïf Production. Alongside she performs with the Roue Giratoire in several productions by Les filles du renard pâle.
