Mercat de les Flors

Mercat de les Flors is a public consortium created by the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia and supported by the Ministry of Culture.

The Mercat is an important venue where national and international companies perform. It has become a reference point for all artistic disciplines related to movement, mainly dance but also visual and gestural theatre, and circus.

The Mercat supports and promotes new initiatives to reaffirm the creativity of artists and provide them an international opening. The venue offers a diverse program which reveals different stages of the creative processes and includes fully established international companies and more local productions, as well as international emergent choreographers who are breaking new ground.
