Up – Circus & Performing Arts is an international creation center for circus arts located in Brussels (formerly Espace Catastrophe). Since 27 years, they have been supporting the development of circus creation in Belgium and internationally, through numerous programs and actions: support for creation, production and distribution, training and transmission activities.
Every two years, they organise the UP festival, a flagship event that gives the opportunity to see emerging circus forms in the heart of Brussels. With a diverse Belgian and international program, the festival offers a surprising insight into contemporary circus.
