CE(UX) QUI RESTE(NT)
Marius Fouilland · Aimé Rauzier
THE PROJECT / CE(UX) QUI RESTE(NT) begins with a shared story: the loss of a loved one, a circus artist. It is through them that Marius Fouilland and Aimé Rauzier come together in this piece to question the relationship between life and death. Driven by their acrobatic language, puppets and humans become one. Two to fall, 4 to rise.
‘A problem that many of those left behind by death will try to answer: where is he? We have to find a place for the dead, in other words, ‘make’ a place for them. The ‘here’ has been emptied; we have to build the ‘there.’ Vinciane Despret. CE(UX) QUI RESTE(NT) is an attempt to build the ‘There’.
BIO / Marius Fouilland and Aimé Rauzier trained in floor acrobatics at the Académie Fratellini.
