A small box in a large empty space, housing two little people - together and yet, very much alone. This creation speaks of the unavoidable links between two bodies in the same space, of the relationships that can be imagined based on the unspoken, but also celebrates solitude - joyful, melancholic and sometimes even liberating.

Biography

Amanda Homa is an aerialist trained at CEFAC (São Paulo), FLIC (Turin) and Lido (Toulouse). She has worked with Ockham’s Razor, SCOM and Rhizome/Chloé Moglia. Since 2020, she creates her own work. After C’est l’Hiver, le Ciel est Bleu, Amanda is working on a new hybrid creation between circus and poetry — a solo stage piece based on research using aluminum wires as aerial apparatus and exploring the relationship between language and imagination. The creation is scheduled for 2027.

Idriss Roca is a juggler, acrobat and actor. Trained at CRAC, ECL, Lido and CNAC (magie nouvelle), he co-founded the company La Mob à Sisyphe in 2018 to create Huitième Jour. Idriss is currently working on a new solo creation designed for all kinds of spaces and audiences, aiming to question hyper-productivity, set for 2027.
