Le repos du guerrier
THE PROJECT / Le Repos du guerrier is a solo that takes an intimate look (not without a touch of irony) at the career of a circus artist. We follow an acrobat, a knife thrower who tries to replay his professional career. Scenes that are lived, fantasised or sometimes even totally plagiarised, which unfold the landscape of a generation of amateur and professional circus artists, both traditional and contemporary. An exploration of what this strange gathering (the circus) says about us.
BIO / Hello, as my English is not quite perfect and I didn’t have someone to translate my bio properly, I thought I’d take the opportunity to write another one and it turned out to be a good idea because in the French version I don’t quite understand the last sentence about my tendency to iconoclasm… In short, I’m a circus artist (knife thrower, acrobat and juggler). For a long time I gave circus classes to people with disabilities and since then I’ve done two plays « Dans ma Chambre” and « Le repos du guerrier”. And in Le repos du guerrier I talk about my career as an artist, which is a bit unusual.
