is a performance in the heart of the intimacy of Viivi in which she puts her strengths and weaknesses to the test. What pushed Viivi to create her first solo was the choice to shorten her rope, thereby opening a new range of possibilities by instilling a greater void and a different approach to the ground. Alone with her piece of rope she shows moments of glory, failure, joy and loneliness reminding us of the multiplicity of emotions that shape our lives.
BIO /Viivi, now specialized in vertical rope, started circus in 1997 in Finland. She moved to France in 2009 for the Centre National des Arts du Cirque. The first years after graduating from school in 2012 Viivi worked for a lot of different companies mainly in France but also in Norway and in Finland (Le Gdra, Chloe Moglia, Circo aereo, circus xanti etc…). She got to do some multidisciplinary projects, shows for children, replacements and an opera.
Viivi is also the co-creator of 2 projects; Site specific performance in the forest called Metsä-the forest project together with Sade Kamppila, that premiered in 2016 and Dans ton cirque a rope duo created together with Fragan Gehker and Anna Tauber in 2020.
